I just found this online, and love it. It's the transcript of an address given by SLC's Mayor, Ross Anderson.

I wish more and more people could join together in this stand. Our country's situation is no longer just about red vs. blue, liberal vs. conservative. There are fundamental things that are important to all of us. We must demand better leadership, and hold accountable the corrupt men and women who have perverted our constitution and destroyed the lives of thousands of people for their own gain.

 
We must do what's right, whatever our political beliefs. Evil things have been done and many people have suffered. If we are unable to change this at all, then what kind of world will we leave for our children?
